CATS provides top quality training covering a wide range of topics on audit,
control and related topics through The Centre for Integrated Auditing,
its public courses and research division. "An Introduction to the Dynamic
World of Internal Audit", “Essential Skills of Systems Auditing", “Facilitation
Skills for Auditors”, “Best Practice Internal Audit” and "Risk-Based
Auditing" are examples of events widely regarded as the definitive courses
in these areas. CATS leads where others follow. For many years we have been
providing guidance, objective commentary and expert training in risk-based
auditing, operational auditing, control self-assessment, business risk
management, IT audit and provision of “value-added” audit services. CATS was
the first UK training organisation to design a course on Environmental
Auditing specifically for internal auditors. Further subjects covered
include fraud, COSO and other control frameworks, innovative audit reporting,
interviewing techniques, the audit of capital projects and implementing
professional standards. In all we offer courses in around 20 subjects; full
details are contained in brochures and fact-sheets. Many courses are
specially developed on request and we are always pleased to consider suggestions
for new topics.
CATS has a strong client base covering all sectors, and many organisations,
large and small, regularly send their staff on our courses as part of their
training and development programme. Increasingly other managers and staff
charged with audit, review and control responsibilities use CATS' courses to
develop their skills and knowledge in these areas. As well as providing
up-to-date information, authoritative guidance, high quality tuition and
practical advice, we also aim to stimulate, to develop skills and confidence,
and to promote enjoyment of the subject. |
